A visceral, earthy and vibrant abstract oil by Ebbe Sjölin. Sculptor, painter and creative metalworker Sjölin was born in 1922 in Limhamn, Sweden. He died in 1995. He worked above all with bronze and his public sculptures can be found in and around Malmo. In later years he turned to painting using a palette of fiery colours and communicating with a blend of abstract and figurative forms. This piece dates from the 1960s.
