This a gorgeous little abstract mixed media piece by Kaj Sigurd Siesjö. Earthy, organic colours on a textured, uneven surface which is probably ceramic or plaster. Confusingly entitled, "Without title V" and with a rough note on the verso that seems to imply a date of 1979.

Born in 1920 in Gothenburg, and died in 1985. Education: Skånska painting school and with Otte Sköld, as well as during trips to Norway and France. His early art consists of naturalistic painting but after he visited Paris in 1949 he came into contact with the modern art currents which he embraced.

Dimensions:

Height 26cm, Width 21cm, Depth 3cm.

Condition: In very good vintage condition with only minor signs of use relative to age.
