Vintage Side Table attributed to Gerald Summers
A classic piece of utilitarian British design by Gerald Summers, an innovator in the use of what was at the time a revolutionary new product – plywood! Featuring the CC41 (or Pac Man) stamp that certified goods during in wartime Britain as meeting the government’s strict austerity requirements. The scheme actually ran until 1952.
Condition: This piece has not been restored but is in very good vintage condition with only very minor signs of use relative to age.
