Pair of Leather Club Chairs in the Style of Frits Henningsen
I have not been able to confirm that these chairs were made by Frits Henningsen but they are very much in his style. He was a designer and furniture make in Denmark prolific in the 1920s-1960s who was highly respected for his very high standards of craftsmanship and the fact that he insisted on entirely handmade production. Cognac coloured leather and the nailhead trim were also a trademark of Henningsen. These chairs are certainly very solid, comfortable and well made but are, however, quite worn. Personally, this is a look I prefer to a highly restored finish and the fact that they are not is also reflected in the price. They are also not an exact matching pair but a near pair using the same materials but with slightly different curves and legs.

Chair 2 – Height 76cm, Width 68cm, Depth 76cm.
